Come to think of it, it’s not good to waste any food especially when you are on a tight budget. Guess what? This quick and easy recipe might help you solve your problem.
This recipe is very common in Asian countries especially in Philippines, China, Korea and Japan. Of course, there are a lot of variations to this recipe and you are free to experiment with the ingredients. In this article, we will be doing a variation of the ever famous “stir fried rice” but instead of using the usual ingredients, we will be using the ones that can be easily found in the kitchen.

1 – Preheat the wok or frying pan and add at least 1 tbsp. of cooking oil. Set the stove in low fire.
2 – Add the garlic until fragrant, then onion. Sauté until the garlic turns brown.
3 – Add the leftover rice, soy sauce and margarine and mix the ingredients using the spatula. Make sure that the rice won’t stick into the pan.
4 – Add the egg and mix until it is cooked.
5 – Use the salt or Ginisa Mix for seasoning but do not do so unless needed. If you plan to add any seasoning, make sure that the stir fried rice won’t taste too salty.
6 – Pour the stir fried rice into a large plate or bowl. You are free to put any kind of toppings or such as fried egg, sliced sausages, leftover steak, etc. or garnish with onion leaves (spring onions).
